Textbook Loan Library
SSS Textbook Library
Forms and requests are no longer accepted by email.
We will be accepting book loan requests up until 8/31/09. Starting September 1st you will be expected to provide documentation of extenuating circumstances.
In order to better serve the needs of program participants, Student Support Services allows active SSS participants to borrow textbooks from the program’s library. Textbooks are checked out to participants for a semester on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants should check with the SSS staff for availability.
1) A course schedule must be presented to the SSS staff indicating a need for the requested textbook in order to cross reference with a student book store.
2) Active SSS participation must be verified by the SSS staff.
3) NO highlighting in the textbooks or workbooks. Important passages should be marked with Post-It notes or bookmarks instead of highlighting or writing in the margins.
4) NO writing in the textbooks or workbooks. A separate sheet of notebook paper should be used to do problems and other homework assignments.
5) Textbooks should be returned to the SSS offices immediately after the completion of your finals.
6) If a student has not returned a previous semester’s textbook, they will not be allowed any new check-outs and their WSU student account will be charged the value of the book.
